 AIR SHOW / PERFORMERS 2005

Ron Cain

Ron Cain, his son, and son's airplane in background

Ron Cain has been a pilot for thirty-nine years, and an aerobatic pilot for thirty-eight of those years.

For the first nineteen years he concentrated on becoming a commercial, then a multi-engine, then a DC3 and instructor pilot. Ron has only been entertaining people with aerobatics at air shows for twenty years.

Ron's aircraft is the De Havilland DHC 10-22 Chipmunk, built in 1951 and Imported from Australia 1971. He modified it himself -- Engine, Propeller & Airframe, it's equipped to make smoke, and is adapted to permit inverted oil and fuel feeds.
